Marics launches new Honda model, in-house financing

Marics and Company Limited, the authorized dealers for Honda motor vehicles in Guyana, on Friday launched the new Honda City 2021 for the local market along with  a brand new in-house financing programme.

The new mid-size sedan, which has been unveiled in other markets around the world, has finally made its way to Guyana and adds to the fleet of Honda vehicles that Marics has in its lineup. During the launch, General Manager Anand Kalladeen stated that the company has been a part of the Guyanese auto market for over 50 years and has become the home of Honda in the country.

“Today, we are extremely happy to launch the all new Honda City 2021 Model. This car is designed with Supremacy in mind. You get a sophisticated style with great performance, advanced technology and safety, all in this new Honda City.” Kalladeen said.

He pointed out that this new model is a fusion of technology and comfort with a wide interior and is available in several colours. Giving further details on the vehicle, Sales Executive Rendell Harry, stated that this is the fifth Generation City which has now evolved to be the longest in its class which comes with features such as keyless remote entry, LED daytime running lights, and air conditioning with an air filtration system.

The 1500cc sedan was also touted as an eco-friendly, fuel-efficient five-seater with standard 16-inch alloy wheels.

With the launch of the new car, Marics and Company on Friday also launched their in-house financing program for vehicles. The General Manager noted that with this option customers can make a down payment of at least 25% and have three or five years to repay the remainder.

The vehicle is currently on display in the Marics Robb Street showroom.
