IN DIS TIME

We’re facing in the world now what we never faced before

These days it’s steady worries, left and right

You have to cover up your face, and don’t shake people hand

And no crowds anywhere at all… that’s right.

Everybody’s feeling it, no one is immune, rich or poor boy, all man getting lash

The people in the logie, or those folks in Thirst Park

The ones in mini bus, in town, just crash.

Plus, everybody’s looking for a deal on everything

From doctor visit to a new TV

Where to get the cheapest steak, the best price on haircut

And what to take for that pain in your knee

The problem is it’s not one thing, the story is the same across the board

More life now is simply dealing with conditions today, and knowing clearly what you can afford

It’s often not the ideal.  Okay, adjust the line

This is how it is yes, but there are still things there that shine.

Calm down and check the scene well, good stuff is all about

Embrace the love and give good friends a shout

You still have plenty sugar to counteract the lime

Life can still be glorious in dis time.

Do not be overtaken by the decay and the slime

A blessed life remains yet in dis time.
