Trinidad nurse charged with murder of woman

(Trinidad Guardian) Kelly Phillip, the nurse accused of murdering Princes Town mother Kadijah Flament, has been returned to the St Ann’s Psychiatric Hospital.

During Phillip’s virtual court appearance on Friday, San Fernando Senior Magistrate Armina Deonarinesingh remanded her to the facility for a psychiatric evaluation.

Phillip, 30, was discharged from the institution on Thursday, following which Homicide detectives received instructions to charge her.

 

On Monday, Phillip’s sister Faith Ramsubagh, 18 and brother Kyle “Iron Beast” Delande, 27, a scrap iron dealer, both of Green Hill Avenue, Tarodale, Ste Madeleine, appeared in court.

 

Ramsubagh was charged with Flament’s murder, while Delande was accused of disposing of Flament’s body. Flament, 25, left her Lothian’s Road home on June 7 to visit her eight-year-old daughter at a friend’s apartment.
