Pomeroon man on manslaughter charge over killing of fellow labourer

A labourer was on Friday charged with manslaughter.

Donald Hudson, 54, of Grant Enterprise, Lower Pomeroon River, appeared via Zoom before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court.

According to the police, he was not required to plea to the charge that he unlawfully killed Noel Morris at Grant Enterprise, Lower Pomeroon River.

Hudson was granted bail in the sum of $800,000.

Hudson was arrested on Tuesday for the murder of Morris, a 26-year-old labourer also of Grant Enterprise Lower Pomeroon River.

The matter was adjourned until August 9, when the matter is to be called at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.
