The Ministry of Labour yesterday announced that following a five-year hiatus both Demerara Timbers Limited (DTL) and the union GAWU have agreed to resume bilateral relations which will feature face-to-face discussions.
The first meeting is slated for September 9, 2021, in the company’s boardroom.
The development came following separate meetings by the ministry with the parties on Tuesday.
