New ambulance handed over to GPHC

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health handed over a new ambulance to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) valued at approximately $11 million.

A release from the Ministry of Health said that this donation is a critical addition to the fleer or ambulances.

The release said that the ambulance is fully equipped with all medical instruments and supplies to provide basic life support.

Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony handed over the ambulance keys to  Robbie Rambarran, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Georgetown Public Hospital.

Also present at the handing over ceremony were, Permanent Secretary Malcolm Watkins and other officials of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
