Guyanese fast bowling all-rounder, Romario Shepherd, has been drafted into the Delhi Bulls for the Abu Dhabi T10 League Season Five.

Shepherd, who turned out for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, was the second highest wicket taker and a member of the Caribbean Premier League’s team of the tournament.

The 26-year-old took 18 wickets in nine matches while also winning a few games with the bat in hand including an unbeaten 72 from 44 balls to book the Warriors place in the semi-finals.

The right-handed seamer has represented West Indies in six T20Is so far and seven 50-over matches.

Also signed to the Bulls are Ravi Rampaul, who ended the CPL with one wicket more than Shepherd and is set to make a return to the West Indies side in the World Cup nearly six years after his last match.

His countryman, Sherfane Rutherford, Man of the CPL final, Dominic Drakes, left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein, Nyeem Young, Dwayne Bravo, Devon Thomas, England’s limited over captain, Eoin Morgan, Adil Rashid and Rilee Rossouw are also in the Bulls set up. The tournament is set to bowl off on November 19 and will run until December 4.
