This government led by Dr. Irfaan Ali backed by our very own comrade Bharrat Jagdeo, has been making tremendous progress. Not only are the common people benefitting from grants and relief, but infrastructural developments are on the rise. With the plans ahead for the deep water harbour in Palmyra and the construction of a bridge between Suriname & Guyana the entire Berbice will see a rapid growth in the economy which will improve the standard of living of citizens.
I wish to commend the leadership for the progress we are seeing. I hope that over the next four years we can see even greater development for this entire nation. I wish to ask that the process of building our sea defence be speeded up due to global climatic changes. To the graceful First Lady – thank you for recognising that the No. 63 Beach is of great importance for the people in and out of Berbice. To the ministers who are approaching the people on a ground level; thank you for listening.
