Dear Editor,
An angel floated into the supermarket and restored my flagging trust in the goodness of people. There I was doing my weekly shopping and as I got to the cashier a gentleman behind in the line, I observed just had two items, So I told him he can go ahead of me and cash his items, since I had a trolley full. The gentleman proceeded to do so, but then he said to me since I allowed him to go ahead of me, he would bring Christmas early for me and proceeded to pay my grocery bill. Sure I was taken back and protested, but he insisted he wanted to do this kind act. Regrettably I never got the chance to properly thank and express my gratitude to the gentleman as he left the entity by the time I came out. Through this medium I hope he recognises the story and know his gesture was truly appreciated. Christmas came early for me. Maybe, but an angel made that possible. We all have one, they say. I now know this to be true.
