Trophy Stall joins 5th GSCL Inc. PM Cup

Accolade giants, Trophy Stall, have become the official trophy sponsors of the fifth annual Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc. Prime Minister’s Cup.

At a simple ceremony at the company’s South Road, Bourda location, GSCL President, Ian John, reiterated the significance of the business supporting the tournament.

John said that Trophy Stall is one of the businesses in Guyana that is always willing to add its input to the development of sports in Guyana and has been a close friend of the tournament.

Proprietor of Trophy Stall, Devi Sunich, said the company was happy to be associated with the tournament and wished the organisers well. She also  cautioned them to observe the COVID-19 guidelines and have a safe and fun competition.

The three-day tournament is currently ongoing across three divisions, namely Open, Legends and Masters with 20 teams taking part at several venues across the nation’s capital.

The finals will be staged tomorrow at the National Stadium, Providence with 40 percent capacity allowed to witness the action. Admission is free but no coolers are allowed and patrons must be vaccinated and in possession of their vaccination book.

Regal Legends, Fisherman Masters and Speed boat All Stars are the defending champions. Over $1 Million in prizes are up for grabs.
