Can’t NPTAB’s award of contract to St8tment Construction be contested in the courts?

Dear Editor,

I have read the accusations against the government for violating tendering and procurement laws and regulations, the latest being NPTAB award of contract to St8tment Construction.  Since no one is above the law, can’t such matters be contested in the courts?

Furthermore, I had written some time ago about conflict of interest – having the same individual heading the Project Cycle Management Division at the Ministry of Finance and also chairing the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB). Think about it.

Sincerely,

A. Adler
