Dear Editor,
The brouhaha concerning whether there was a fifty percent promised increase to public servants’ salaries, real or perceived, might have its genesis in the promised nine thousand dollars to rice farmers which was later stoutly denied, as ever been made. A poster promise cannot be compared to a promise that was substantiated in a recording. Whose intelligence was insulted then?
