Dear Editor,
I took a stroll down Main Street’s avenue on Wednesday midday commencing from the junction of Middle and Main Streets all the way down to Bank of Guyana, hoping to catch the sights of the Christmas Village. Alas, the Village was all shuttered and deserted, except for the presence of the usual security personnel. Why, in this Christmas week was the Village at that time of day not a hive of activity?
