A man was yesterday arrested in the Springlands, Upper Corentyne Area in connection with an accident which happened in August, 2016 and resulted in the death of an occupant of his car.
According to the Guyana Police Force, the driver, Delon Moore, 27, of Lot 79 Corriverton was driving motor car PTT 9233 along the Chester, West Coast Berbice Public Road when Adrian Gomez, 32, of Adventure, Corentyne, died as a result of an accident.
The police noted, that “The said driver has evaded the police since.”
However, Moore was arrested at the Springlands Police Station yesterday after which he was transported to the Fort Wellington Police Station pending the charge of causing death by dangerous driving as was recommended following the accident.
