I suggest we evolve a post-pandemic celebration for our Guyanese-UK achievers

Dear Editor,

When (and if) the new London High Commissioner comes out of his/her sugar-coated bubble, might I suggest we evolve a programme of post pandemic events at the High Commission for the very active UK Diaspora. First event, saluting the ‘Achievers’ with an evening with Baroness Amos CH, Sir Trevor Phillips and David Lammy MP, Shadow Foreign Secretary. They deserve ‘congrats’ in person. Let’s do it.

Sincerely,

John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
