Dear Editor,
The letter writer offering the suggestion of the Minister of Finance as chair of the NRF Board (SN Jan 9), is being deleterious and cannot be taken seriously. How could such a suggestion emanate after it was explained ad nauseam that the previous Bill gave too much power and control to the finance minister? Now this suggestion is just unbelievable. Technocrat or not, it would be not only inappropriate, but going against the lofty principles defined in the Bill to make such an appointment. True, we do not need more drama with these appointments.
