The Berbice Bridge Company Inc. (BBCI) has reduced the freight charges for trucks transporting sand to East Berbice.
A release from the company on Friday said that the new freight charges will be $2,000 for Medium Trucks (single axle) and $4,000 for Large Trucks (double axles).
The new freight charges have taken effect from 3rd February, 2022, at 6:00am until further notice.
