The Ministry of Finance today reminded the general public that there is no ‘Entrepreneurship Development Funds and Grants programme’ being implemented by the Ministry.
Further, there is no individual with the name ‘Madam Subrena Melicia’ working at the Ministry of Finance under the designation ‘Secretary’ with email address meliciasubrena@gmail.com from whence emails are being sent to persons informing them of the above-mentioned ‘grants’.
The ministry urged members of the public to be always alert and should any one by such a name write or ask them to fill out forms for this programme to send in to them, it is fake and is not in any way related to the Ministry of Finance.
In addition, it cautioned members of the public to not pay or deposit any monies whatsoever to such a person or send to any accounts you may be told of.
