A police outpost was recently opened near the Demerara Harbour Bridge to aid in the prevention and detection of crime and to enhance the monitoring of traffic situation in the area. Commissioner of Police (ag) Nigel Hoppie received the keys to the structure from DHB General Manager Wayne Watson on Friday during a simple ceremony.
