A United States citizen visiting Guyana has been missing for four days and his family is offering a $1 million reward for any information on his whereabouts.

Rohan Kirpaul Mangra, also known as ‘Paul,’ of Lot 98 UG Road, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was last seen on March 15 when he left home around 8.05pm.

He was reportedly picked up by a car in front of a printery, located at the corner of UG Road and Sixth Street, Cummings Lodge. Since then, he has not returned home and calls to his phone have revealed that it is turned off.

Reports are that it is unusual for Mangra to leave home and not return without informing his family. It is unclear whether the individual/s who picked him up in the car has/have been identified.

A missing person report has been filed with the police and an investigation has been launched. The US embassy in Guyana has also been notified.

Sunday Stabroek understands that Mangra was scheduled to return home some time ago but extended his stay.

Anyone with information that may lead to the whereabouts of Mangra can contact his family at 680-3863 and 624-0033, or the nearest police station.
