Dear Editor,
The biggest party in sport – CPL cricket – will be just that when the finals of the event is staged here not once but for the next three years! This year’s inauguration will also see the hosting of the semi-final games amid much hype of the planned Cricket Carnival and Cruise. The Government, particularly the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports must be complimented and commended for the hard work done in securing and bringing the world class product to our shores. Well done! The tenth season will see the Women’s component of the Tournament making its debut. It would be a fitting culmination to the two weeks grand spectacle when our women and men teams lift the trophy for the first time. From all indications it promises to be not only the loudest but the best tournament ever in CPL’s history.
