A 57-year-old woman was stabbed to death in the wee hours of today at her Lot 563 Foulis home, East Coast Demerara.
The dead woman has been identified as Savitri Raj, a mother of three.
Her husband has been identified as Vijay Raj, called ‘Zaro.’ The police are currently searching for him.
Preliminary reports revealed that the woman was stabbed multiple times while she was sleeping.
Investigations are ongoing.
