Where are these advocates when crimes are committed against Indian Guyanese?

 Dear Editor,

Law abiding citizens are confused and angry at the state of affairs in Guyana. An Indian allegedly spat on a black woman, while allegedly calling her a racial slur.  Social media went crazy, opposition members went into a frenzy which has not yet been abated.  The attorney’s apology did not pacify the complainers of “racial injustice.” Many concerned Guyanese are wondering, where are these supposed advocates of “racial justice” and “social equity” when crimes are committed against Indian Guyanese?

Sincerely,

Chitrakha Persaud
