Shoemaker remanded to prison over marijuana

A shoemaker was yesterday remanded to prison over  the possession of marijuana after he was arraigned at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.

Carlos McPherson, 29, of Lot 480 Canvas City, Wismar, Linden, appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics.

The matter was adjourned until June 2, 2022.

The police said that McPherson was arrested at the Mackenzie Market after 16.5lbs of cannabis was found in his possession.
