In yesterday’s Stabroek News, the Editorial refers to the chaos in the morning at the corner of Camp and Quamina Sts.
I, Edward Gonsalves live at 252 Quamina St, 100m from the corner of Camp and Quamina Sts and I’m very familiar with the chaos at this intersection in the morning because I have to maneuver through this intersection almost daily.
A while ago, two traffic police sometimes controlled the intersection, and on these occasions traffic moved in a far more orderly manner.
It would go a long way towards ensuring that traffic moves in a far more orderly manner if two traffic cops were permanently assigned at this intersection.
