Mahaica Determinators and Buxton Stars recorded contrasting wins when the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Senior Men’s League continued last evening at the Buxton Community ground.
Mahaica Determinators defeated Victoria Scorpions 3-1. Eion Abel fashioned a double in the 44th and 64th minute while Kadasi Barnes scored in the 15th minute. For the losers, Shamar Roberts netted in the 10th minute.
Meanwhile, Buxton Stars defeated Melanie 3-2 in the second encounter. Neil Hutson tallied a double in the 28th and 68th minute, while Stephon Thomas scored in the 11th minute. For the losers, Seon Heywood, and Anil Hernandez netted in the 64th, and 74th minute respectively.
