ASP Jermaine Harper laid to rest

Assistant Superintendent of Police Jermaine Harper, who passed away last month was on Saturday laid to rest.

Ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) joined the family and friends of ASP Harper to pay their final respect to ASP Harper at the funeral service which was held at National Cultural Centre Tarmac.

ASP Harper was described as an astute and exceptional policeman who dedicated his life to the service of his country. He, with his dedication and efforts, had set records for others to follow and achieve within the force.

ASP Harper joined the GPF in October, 1998. He was named Best Cop of the then ‘D’ Division in 2011 and runner-up best Cop for the country.
