The Ministry of Education continues to collaborate with the Guyana Police Force to tackle anti-social behaviour exhibited by some students in various schools which have resulted in violent encounters in some instances.

To stem these occurrences, yesterday morning, Officers of the Guyana Police Force conducted random searches at the Tutorial High School and the Richard Ishmael Secondary School along Woolford Avenue as part of the collaboration. Similar activities will be conducted at schools that have been identified, the ministry said in a statement.
