Dear Editor,
It baffles that a wrong body is given and not recognized, in the burial mix-up. How could it not have been recognized from receipt of the body at the funeral home to burial, nowhere along the funeral process the mix-up was realized?
It is said a post-mortem does not bring back the dead, but one will have to be done at the funeral home to determine how this mix-up happened and ensure that weaknesses in the system are corrected thus avoiding another heartbreaking occurrence.
My condolences to both grieving parties.
