Standout muscleman, Kerwin Clarke has become Guyana’s newest professional bodybuilder.

The five-time Mr. Guyana and double CAC gold medalist, took his sharp physique outside of the Region to the USA and sliced through the competition to win his long awaited and coveted Pro Card.

Clarke, 34, competed at the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) sanctioned Hercules- The Charlie Carollo Legacy Classic which was held at the Bronx Community College Theatre on Saturday.

In his return to the stage of bodybuilding, he won the open class in the middle weight category.

The 175+ lb mass of striated muscle then returned to win the overall where he earned the pro card and invitation to the Pro Worlds slated for November, 20, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

Said Clarke yesterday, “Prior to this event, I first had to pass my mandatory polygraph test which rigorously focused on the use of banned substances, which I passed in order to earn a spot on stage”.

He added “After winning the overall I had to produce samples for further testing.”

He joins the pro ranks like his mentor, the decorated Hugh Ross as a natural local pro bodybuilder.

In conclusion, he thanked Champ Fitness, Max Consultancy Accounting Services, Fitness Express and Fitness53 for sponsoring his sojourn.
