Dear Editor,
It was quite easy for the Medical Council to promptly respond to the fake doctor issue. The ‘doctor’ is not real, not registered with the Council, so no investigation can be undertaken by that body. Impersonation is a criminal matter to be handled by the relevant authorities. If only real matters referred to the Council for investigation could receive equally prompt responses.
