The police on Thursday reported the discovery of a man’s nude body at Montrose.
According to a Guyana Police Force statement, the body of the deceased man, who was of East Indian descent, was found lying naked and face down in a trench.
The body was examined by ranks at the scene for marks of violence but none were seen, the police said.
The man’s body was escorted to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home to await identification and an autopsy.
