Three men were yesterday remanded to prison on robbery charges.
Breton Charles, Mark Griffith and Shemar David (no addresses given) all appeared before Senior Magistrate, Leron Daly, in Court Two where the charges were read to them.
It is alleged that the trio, on August 11th at D’Urban Backlands, stole $225,000, property of Narine Toolsie. Additionally, the allegations against Charles and Griffith state that on the said date and address, they stole one HP Laptop valued $315,000, along with $80,000 in cash from Hector Figuera. Both matters were adjourned until November 7th, 2022.
Additionally, Charles and Griffith were also charged with stealing one DAKS wallet worth $8,000, property of Shemar Bowells. The two will make their court appearance for that matter on October 3rd, 2022. The trio pleaded not guilty to their respective charges and were then remanded to prison.
