Three men pleaded not guilty on Monday to
the charge of armed robbery and were remanded until September 30th.
In a statement yesterday, the police said that 35-year-old Devon Hope, 28-year-old Wayne Bascom and 50-year-old Ishwar Persaud all appeared at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court before Principal Magistrate Sunil Scarce.
The three men were arrested following a report of an armed robbery attempt on Wazim Khan at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke-Linden Highway on August 20.
