Saints Conquerors, GCC Spartans, Saints S7N, and Old Fort secured semi-final victories when the Georgetown Football Association Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
In the Girl’s U20 section, Saints Conquerors edged Old Fort Samurais 3-2 to seal their berth in the final. They will now oppose GCC Spartans, who crushed GCC Hurricanes 4-0 in the second divisional semi-final encounter.
On the other hand, Saints S7N crushed Saints Superstars 4-0 in the semi-final section of the Boy’s U20 pool. In the second semi-final of the section, Old Fort squeaked past GCC Pitbulls by a 2-1 score-line.
In other results, GCC Tigers, and Woodpecker Hikers battled to a 3-3 stalemate in the final group stage match of the Women’s division. Meanwhile, GCC Spartans mauled Saints 8-1 in the second match of the section. The tournament continues today at the same venue.
