Woodpecker Hikers will oppose GCC Spartans in the Women’s final, while Old Fort will battle Bounty GCC in the Men’s championship encounter tomorrow, following respective semi-final wins on Wednesday evening in the Lucozade Indoor Hockey Championship which continued on Wednesday.
Staged at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown, Woodpecker Hikers needled GCC Tigers by a 2-1 score-line on penalty strikes, after regulation time ended in a draw at 1-1. On the other hand, GCC Spartans dispatched Old Fort 6-3.
Meanwhile, Bounty GCC overcame Pepsi Hikers 6-5, while Old Fort battled past Hikers Cadets 4-3.
