Dear Editor,
I do not believe in humiliating persons for poor performances. I watch the CPL series and I notice whenever a zero scorer walks to the pavilion from the wicket, a cartoonised duck appears on the television, emits a raucous sound and topples. This I consider poor taste from those in charge of the series.
I am appealing for this practice to end.
As a Guyanese poet I can say:
All we do fall, but ashes we do not remain.
