Courts Guyana Inc on Friday celebrated its 29th anniversary and rewarded five longstanding customers with $100,000 each.

At a ceremony at Courts’ Main Street branch, Managing Director of Courts Guyana Inc Vincent Gordon noted that branch is being remodeled at a price tag of $120 million.

When finished, he said, the new facility would be a true megastore and promised customers a shopping experience will be like nowhere else in Guyana. He signalled that they will be revamping the delivered commitment, service expectation, including their after sales services and will be communicating some more initiatives both in their extended warranty product, especially, as it is relates to their optical branches.

According to Gordon, it is due to the support of its customers that Courts has grown over the years. “In fact we only manage to grow because of you,” he said.

In addition to the Courts branches around the country, the company also operates Lucky Dollar stores, Radioshack stores, the Ashley Home Store and a chain of optical stores across the country.

Vincent noted that the company’s main objective over the last 29 years has been to improve the lifestyle of customers and was sure that it had done so by offering financing options that has allowed them to get what they want and to shop freely and easily.

Gordon at the celebration stated that the company wants people to live out their aspirations and for the lifestyle of the rich and famous to be the lifestyle of the not so rich and famous.

At the anniversary celebration, Courts Guyana Inc Call Centre Manager Gillian Edwards distributed $100,000 prizes to five customers who have shopped at Courts Guyana Inc over the 29 years. Gordon thanked them for their experience with Courts.
