A businesswoman shot and killed a criminal suspect who robbed her of cash and jewellery at her agro shop at Warren Road, Cunupia on Saturday afternoon.
Police say that at around 1p.m. a man wearing coveralls walked into the Agricultural Supplies and Seedling Company (ASASCO) shop and and pulled a gun on the woman.
She was taken to a room and was made to hand over her possessions.
The woman, who is a licensed gun owner, shot the suspect. He died at the scene.
