Johnson’s 153 hands Demerara massive win over President’s XI

A magnificent century from Demerara captain, Leon Johnson, inspired his side to a 16-run win over the President’s XI in the second round of the Guyana Cricket Board Senior Inter-County 50-over second round.

At the Everest Cricket Club yesterday, Demerara won the toss and elected to bat first and piled up a massive 316 for five from their full 50 overs. The President’s XI were bowled out for 156 in 36 overs in reply.
