Seventy women in Regions 7 and 9 have received Solar Photovoltaic Training through the Women’s Innovation and Investment Network (WiiN) programme in collaboration with the Guyana Energy Agency and the Board of Industrial Training. This training is intended to help women gain employment at the new solar farms in these regions. The training included servicing and repairing the equipment at the farms.
