Dear Editor,
I refer to an article in your newspaper in which it is alleged that Mr. Ozzie Rogers assaulted and gun butted a young female, Varsha Bharrat. It is reported that Mr. Rogers was also allowed to leave the country.
A young woman has been assaulted and the women’s organizations are silent. I call upon the women’s organizations, including the WPO and the women’s arm of the Dharmic Sabha to issue a statement of condemnation and call for justice to be served.
