A mother of two was yesterday released on $10,000 bail after she appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and was charged with assaulting another woman.
The charge against 27-year-old Shanicka Nedd (address not provided) alleges that on August 11th at James Street, Albouys-town, she unlawfully assaulted Lynette Samaroo. Nedd pleaded not guilty to the charge which was read to her by Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus and was granted bail in the sum of $10,000.
The matter was then adjourned until December 5th for statements.
