All Guyanese are seeing ministers out listening to citizens’ plights

Dear Editor,

Recently, Minister Parag, who has parliamentary responsibility for Region 5, ventured into Belladrum to inspect a building to be used for developmental activities for persons in that area. Lo and behold, the news reported that an Opposition’s MP met her with haste and behaved in a distasteful manner. I had no idea who this Opposition MP was until it was reported in the news. Was this the MP’s way to gain attention? In the most negative way?

President Ali’s cabinet is made up of those who are interested in developing his One Guyana and it is quite unfortunate that we still have people who prefer to push racism. On social media all Guyanese are seeing, be it a Sunday or Friday, ministers out and about listening to the plight of citizens. From what I can see, the Government has been doing excellent and will continue to deliver because they genuinely care and have the people’s interest at heart!

Sincerely,

Tanya Mohabir
