A silver medal performance in her debut outing at the Central American and Caribbean Championships (CAC) earlier this year in Barbados has bolstered the confidence of bikini standout, Christina Ramsammy.

So much so, the statuesque 33 year-old is adamant that she will strut and pose her way to the Miss Bikini title when the National Senior Championship is staged on December 18 at the National Cultural Centre.

How confident is she?

“On a scale of 1-10, a solid 100” said Ramsammy yesterday.

She added, “My main problem at CAC was my posing attire, which has been rectified and all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears that’s going into this prep, will most definitely pay off come December 18th.

With her husband, Darious Ramsammy reigning as the current bodybuilding King, Christina’s aim is to solidify her status as the local Bikini Queen.

I hadn’t gone completely off the rails since CAC, I upped my calorie intake a little to get a fair maintenance level as I was anticipating the Mr. Guyana prep, so about two months out from competition I tightened up the diet a little and incorporated cardio into my daily routine.”

Amazed at the results from work done in and out the weight room, Ramsammy is eager to unwrap her new and improved physique one week before Christmas.

“This is bodybuilding, not body maintenance, and on December 18, all this hard work will be displayed.”

Quizzed on who she would like to thank, Ramsammy said herself for staying dedicated and never giving up on her journey.

The mother of one also thanked “Darious for always pushing me to improve and my friends, fans and family that have showed me unwavering support thus far.”

Asked again if she will be crowned Miss Bikini 2022, Ramsammy responded “Yes Most Definitely”.

The flagship local event is set to attract the best of the nation’s physiques in the categories of Miss Bikini, Miss Wellness, Men’s Physique and of course bodybuilding. Showtime is set for 18:00hrs and tickets cost $2500 each. See you there.
