Dear Editor,
When the West Indies team was knocked out of the recently concluded world cup, one newspaper headlined them as “Worst Indies.” I daresay that appellation was prima facie timely under the circumstances, but I told myself that my team must be good at something. And then it came to me, as I looked at replays, that the West Indies among all participants in the tournament is the best when it comes to celebrations when a wicket falls- I mean the acrobatics, the gyrations and the other rhythmic and sometimes suggestive body movements which cannot be matched by any other team in the tournament.
