Beverage Company, Trophy Stall on board KFC Goodwill Series

The Guyana Beverage Incorporated (GBI) and Trophy Stall became the latest entities to tangibly support the third Petra Organization-coordinated KFC Goodwill Football Series which commences tomorrow.

GBI has jumped onboard with their Fruta, Oasis Water and Busta brands for the prestigious tournament.

This was confirmed by Khemray Misir, the company’s Finance Manager at a simple presentation ceremony staged at the entity’s Diamond headquarters, East Bank Demerara.

Meanwhile, Trophy Stall will be donating all the trophies for the tournament.

The event, which will run from December 14th-23rd, will utilize an initial group stage, format with the six competing schools being divided into two zones of three.

Group-A comprises newcomer St. Benedict College of Trinidad and Tobago, Golden Grove and DC Caesar Fox [formerly Waramadong]. Group-B consists of GuyOil League winner, Christianburg/Wismar, Annai Secondary and SVB Academy of Suriname.

At the conclusion of the group round, the top two finishers in each pool will advance to the semi-final section. The competition is penciled to be staged at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, though the National Training Centre, Providence has been identified as a backup facility due to the ongoing rainfall.
