Three companies bid for evaluation of Exxon’s proposed 5th oil platform

Bids have been submitted by three companies for the evaluation of ExxonMobil’s proposed fifth oil producing platform in the Atlantic – Uaru.

The bids were opened on Tuesday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB).

Bayphase Ltd,  Stratoil and De Godhyer & Mac Naughton are the three bidders.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) had advertised for bids in September. 

According to the request for proposals, the consulting firm will have to provide, “….A. Detailed Assessment of the Uaru Concept Selection Process and Field Development Plan (FDP) B. FDP Management, Oversight, Monitoring and Reporting C. Detailed Assessment of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of the Proposed Uaru FDP D. ESIA Management, Oversight, Monitoring and Reporting E. Training and Institutional Capacity.”
