El Dorado Security sees conspiracy to misrepresent facts over incident with guards

El Dorado Security Service says its investigation of an incident on December 30th near the Hard Rock Café involving three of its guards suggest that there is a conspiracy to misrepresent facts.

In a release yesterday, El Dorado said it had taken note of various online reports that have cast aspersions on the actions of three of its employees on the night in question. El Dorado said that it does not condone unprofessional behaviour of any of its employees.

“We have conducted our own investigations and have cooperated fully with the Guyana Police Force in this regard. A high-level team was dispatched to the Commander of `A’ Division to share information with regards to the alleged incident and the Service has every reason to believe that under the Commander’s stewardship a fair and unbiased investigation will be conducted”, the release said.

El Dorado added that evidence collected by it and shared with the police suggests that there is a “conspiracy to misrepresent the facts to procure the wrongful arrest of our employees. In this regard, we have instructed our attorneys at law to leave no stone unturned to initiate legal proceedings against all such conspirators”.

The release was signed by Alvin Holladar, Chief Security Officer.
