President tours trade expo in Madhya Pradesh

President Irfaan Ali and his delegation were special invitees to a trade expo and cultural show yesterday in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

President Ali visited several booths and interacted with patrons and exhibitors before attending the cultural show organised by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh, a release from the Office of the President said.

President of the Republic of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi and Indian High Commissioner to Guyana, Dr K.J Srinivasa, were also at the event.

Dr Ali is leading a delegation on an official visit to the South Asian country. During the visit, the President will be conferred with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award—India’s highest honour for overseas Indians.
